Malaysian retail giant MR.DIY launched its first store in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, as it continues its expansion in the country’s provincial areas.

The new outlet, located on the second floor of SaveMore Naujan, opened its doors at 8:00 AM, offering residents access to the retailer’s extensive range of home improvement and lifestyle products.

The store’s launch represents MR.DIY’s growing presence in the Philippines, where it has been rapidly expanding since entering the market in 2018.

The company is known for its “Always Low Prices” business model, offering over 10,000 products across various categories including hardware, household, and automotive accessories.

MR.DIY has become one of Asia’s largest home improvement retailers, with operations in several countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The company has built its reputation on providing affordable everyday products to consumers, particularly in emerging markets and provincial areas.

The Naujan branch is the latest addition to MR.DIY’s network of over 200 stores across the Philippines, reflecting the company’s strategy to penetrate smaller towns and cities beyond major urban centers.

MR. DIY can also be found in the town of Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, and in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
