Mindoro Students Eligible for Full Medical Scholarships in Cebu

Mindoro students aspiring to become doctors can now pursue their dreams through a full medical scholarship program offered by Mansalay Vice Mayor Shernan Gamol in partnership with Gullas College of Medicine, Inc. in Cebu City.

The scholarship seeks to provide opportunities for deserving students from Mindoro who lack the financial means to study medicine. It also seeks to increase the number of doctors to enhance healthcare services in Mindoro island.

Scholar’s Benefits:

  • Full tuition fee coverage
  • Free books and learning materials
  • Free meals and accommodation
  • Monthly allowance of P7,000 for personal expenses
  • No return service obligation

Initial Requirements:

  • Letter of intent
  • Transcript of records
  • Bachelor’s degree diploma in any field

The scholarship is open to new graduates who have recently completed their bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue medical education, as well as transferees currently enrolled in a Doctor of Medicine program at another institution but facing financial difficulties.

The deadline for submission is December 24, 2024.
