A 36-year-old man suspected of selling illegal drugs was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, early this week, police said.
The suspect, identified as “Ed”, was caught by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit of the Lubang Municipal Police Station (MPS) at around 12:35 am in Barangay Tilik, Lubang.
According to police, Ed was listed as a Street Level Individual (SLI) and was caught after selling a packet of suspected shabu to undercover agents posing as buyers for P1,000.
Police also recovered another packet of suspected shabu weighing 0.2 grams and estimated to be worth P1,000, as well as the buy-bust money used in the transaction.
The suspect is currently detained at the Lubang MPS and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
