A Mindoreño combat sports athlete will make his professional debut in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) when he travels to India to battle a local rising star with a flawless combat record of 4 wins and zero losses.
Jansent “Kid Rock” Taladtad, hailing from the town of Roxas, will step into the lion’s den at Nehru Stadium in Guwahati, India to face Indian MMA fighter Monjit Yein in the main event of a fight card organized by Bidang Fighting Championship (BFC).
Although Taladtad had a 4 wins-1 loss record in the amateur MMA circuit, this will be his first fight in the professional ranks in the no-holds-barred contact sport. His opponent, undefeated contender Yein boasts an undefeated 4-0 record with two victories by decision, one by submission, and one by knockout.
As Taladtad steps into the cage in Guwahati, all eyes will be on ‘Kid Rock’ to see if the Mindoreño cage fighter can overcome Yein and make a victorious professional debut.
