DFA Mobile Passport Service in Occidental Mindoro Postponed Due to Typhoon Uwan

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) postponed a Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) mobile passport service scheduled for Nov. 9-10, 2025 due to the severe storm affecting the province.

DFA representatives cannot reach Occidental Mindoro because all travel to and from the province has been canceled, PESO office said in an advisory Saturday.

The postponement will ensure the safety of DFA personnel and Mindoro residents as dangerous weather conditions persist, according to the announcement.

PESO officials asked residents to monitor the office’s Facebook page for updates on when the mobile passport service will be rescheduled.

All travel in and out of the province remained suspended as Typhoon Uwan approaches Luzon mainland.
