Oriental Mindoro Offers Free Mental Health Medications to Residents

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Oriental Mindoro is now providing free medications for mental health conditions to residents with updated prescriptions.

The program offers 11 types of psychiatric medications, including antipsychotics, antidepressants and mood stabilizers.

Available medications include Biperiden, Carbamazepine, Chlorpromazine, Diphenhydramine, Donepezil, Escitalopram, Fluphenazine, Haloperodol, Lamotrigine, Oxcarbazepine, Quetiapine Fumarate and Sertraline in various dosages.

Residents can obtain the medications at the PHO from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Patients must present updated prescriptions to receive the free medications.

Those living far from PHO can contact their Municipal Health Office to arrange medication pickup from PHO, according to the announcement.
