More than 2,800 residents and farmers in an agricultural barangay in Pinamalayan town now have better access to markets following the completion of a new concrete road.

The farm-to-market road in Sitio Teresita, Barangay Nabuslot, in Pinamalayan municipality, Oriental Mindoro, was built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to improve connectivity for farmers and residents.

The project involved laying concrete over nearly one kilometer of road, creating a 5-meter-wide carriageway with 1-meter shoulders and constructing retaining walls along the route.

DPWH District Engineer Annielyn Padullo reported the completion to DPWH Regional Director Gerald Pacanan, saying the road would enable smoother transportation of agricultural products from farms to markets.
