Incumbent Mayor Allan Roldan has secured another term as mayor of Baco town in Oriental Mindoro province after receiving 11,536 votes in the recently concluded 2025 midterm elections, according to official results released by the Municipal Board of Canvassers.
Vice Mayor Eric Castillo was also re-elected with 13,818 votes, showing strong support for the current administration in this municipality of approximately 40,000 residents.
“๐ง๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฌ ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ก, ๐ง๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฌ ๐ก๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐๐ก,” Mayor Roldan posted on Facebook following the announcement, thanking constituents for their trust and participation in what he called a “historic” 2025 election.
In his statement, Roldan bared how “the people of Baco have once again demonstrated their strong commitment to an honest government that shows compassion and truly serves its resudents.”
The “Team Always Ready” slate secured five of the eight available seats on the town council.
Councilor Jay Lorence Najito garnered the highest number of votes, followed by Councilors Arlene Pereรฑa and Allan Duka claiming the second and third positions respectively.
Councilors Vering Jimenez and Manoy Ical completed the winning lineup from Roldan’s team, taking the sixth and seventh council seats.
