Police authorities have arrested a suspected drug dealer during an undercover operation on Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro.
The 31-year-old man, known by the alias “Ron”, was detained after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover officer in Vigo village early Thursday morning.
Officers seized three plastic sachets containing suspected illegal substances worth P3,000 pesos, according to the Lubang police.
The operation was carried out by the police using marked bills worth P1,000 pesos as part of the sting operation.
The suspect, classified as “street-level individual,” is being held at Lubang Municipal Police Station and faces charges under the country’s strict anti-drugs laws.
