Several shipping lines operating out of Batangas Port have cancelled trips on Tuesday, Sept. 3, due to inclement weather, port authorities announced.

Asian Terminals Incorporated (ATI), which manages the port, issued an advisory to passengers, citing cancellations for fast craft services bound for Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro and Balatero Puerto Galera.

The affected shipping companies include Starlite, Island Water, Galerian, and Montenegro Shipping Lines.

“Due to inclement weather, some shipping lines have cancelled their trips today, September 3,” the advisory said.

Passengers are advised to check for updates or contact their respective shipping lines directly for more information.

The cancellations come as Tropical Storm Enteng affects parts of Luzon and Visayas.

ATI urged travelers to prioritize safety and to stay informed about any changes to maritime schedules.

The port operator said it would provide updates through its official social media channels and website.
