Calapan Port Opens New Gate 4, Introduces Drive-Through System for Batangas-Bound Cargo

The Port of Calapan will redirect all rolling cargo bound for Batangas through its newly constructed Gate 4 starting Monday, September 15, 2025 at 8:00 a.m., according to an advisory from port management.

The permanent transfer is the opening of enhanced facilities that include a new drive-through system allowing private vehicles and motorcycles to complete transactions without drivers leaving their vehicles, the PCBSI Port Terminal Management Corp. said.

Under the new arrangement, Type 3 and Type 4 loaded delivery trucks and vans will be required to undergo mandatory weighing at the Weigh Bridge Facility located at Gate 4, the port operator said.

The infrastructure upgrade is designed to streamline operations at this sea transport hub linking the island province of Oriental Mindoro with Batangas province on the main island of Luzon.

For inquiries, the port management has provided a customer service hotline at (0942) 328 6990.
