Typhoon Crising Forces Suspension of Ferry Services in Mindoro

Maritime operations at Calapan Port have been temporarily suspended as Tropical Storm “Crising” continues to affect the country, according to a public advisory released this morning.

Crising is the third tropical cyclone to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this year, prompting government authorities to prioritize passenger safety over scheduled operations.

“All Fastcraft vessel trips are cancelled until further notice,” the port authority announced.

Passengers with existing bookings are advised to stay tuned for updates regarding the resumption of services.

Port officials said that operations will only resume once weather conditions improve and safety protocols are met.
