The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Occidental Mindoro Provincial Office conducted the operation with the Philippine National Police Special Action Force, the Occidental Mindoro Provincial Police Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Sablayan Municipal Police Station.

Authorities identified the suspect only as “Vrea,” an unemployed resident of the barangay where the operation took place.

Officers confiscated 50.15 grams of suspected “shabu” valued at P341,020, along with drug paraphernalia.

The suspect faces charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
