The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will conduct a two-day road safety advocacy program in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on July 5-6, 2025, at the Barangay Inarawan Covered Court.
Mayor Henry Joel Teves announced the LTO Caravan in partnership with the LTO MIMAROPA Region Victoria Extension Office, First Asian Cognizance Executive Training (FACET) Institute Corp., and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region IVB-Oriental Mindoro.
The program will offer student permit applications with free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) and driver’s license renewals.
Applicants for student permits must be at least 16 years old. Minors aged 16-17 need written parental consent and a valid parent or guardian ID with original and two photocopies.
Student permit applicants will pay P600 pesos for medical examination, P250 pesos for the new student permit, and an optional P150 pesos for blood typing. The Theoretical Driving Course will be provided free of charge.
Required documents include PSA or NSO birth certificate or National ID with original and two photocopies, PSA or NSO marriage certificate for married women with original and two photocopies, and any valid government-issued ID or school ID for students with original and two photocopies.
For driver’s license renewals, applicants must pay P600 pesos for medical examination, P585 pesos for the renewal fee, and P75 pesos penalty for expired licenses from one day to one year.
License renewal requires the original and photocopy of the current driver’s license and Comprehensive Driver’s Education online validation exam results, which can be obtained through the Land Transportation Management System account at the LTO portal.
Pre-registration for student permits begins July 2, 2025 at the Municipal Tourism Office in the new municipal building. The office operates weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and complete requirements are mandatory for processing.
