The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has opened a new service hub in Occidental Mindoro, bringing government services closer to Mindoreños.

The facility, inaugurated Tuesday in partnership with the local government of Sablayan, will provide monthly mobile services on the third Tuesday of each month.

The hub is part of Project ISLAND – “Integrated Service Locations Across the New Destination” – designed to create accessible service points across MIMAROPA region.

PRC regulates and supervises the practice of professionals in the Philippines, handling licensing and certification for various professions except lawyers.

The new hub will offer services including initial registration, renewal of professional identification cards, document certification and examination applications.
