Orthopedic Surgeon Returns to Mindoro After Singapore Fellowship

Mindoro Medical Center welcomes back orthopedic surgeon Dr. Melissa Mae R. Sanchez following completion of a spine surgery fellowship program at Singapore’s Changi General Hospital.

Sanchez, a diplomate of the Philippine Board of Orthopedics, specializes in treatments including minimally invasive spine surgery, spine trauma, decompression and fusion procedures, cervical disc replacement, degenerative disc disease and scoliosis care.

The fellowship enhances specialized medical services available to residents of Oriental Mindoro province where access to advanced spine care has historically been limited, often requiring patients to travel to Manila for treatment.

Sanchez holds clinic hours at Mindoro Medical Center in Calapan City on Mondays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
