DPWH MIMAROPA Reactivates Motorists’ Assistance Team for Holy Week 2025

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – MIMAROPA has reactivated its “Lakbay Alalay” Motorist Roadside Assistance Centers in anticipation of the influx of travelers for Holy Week 2025.

The assistance program will operate from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, with teams positioned across Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Palawan, and Romblon provinces.

Assistance stations in Mindoro Oriental will be located at Waterfalls Bridge in Puerto Galera, Calapan City, and Bongabong.

Occidental Mindoro stations are established at Bamban in Victoria, Lubang, San Cristobal in Sta. Cruz, and Sablayan.

Marinduque province will be served by stations in Boac along the Circumferential Road, Mogpog, Sta. Cruz, and Torrijos, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the island.

Palawan area has been organized under three District Engineering Offices with multiple stations strategically positioned across the province, including locations in Roxas, Villa Libertad, Narra, and Puerto Princesa City.

Motorist assistance in Romblon province will be accessible in Odiongan, Looc-Alcantara-Ferrol, and several other locations along main thoroughfares to ensure traveler safety.

According to the official DPWH notice, the department is committed to providing safe and convenient journeys for all motorists during the Holy Week period.
