A Filipina contestant will compete in the grand finale of the Mrs. International World pageant tonight, March 7, 2025, representing her advocacy for disaster preparedness.
Naz Dolor Enriquez, from San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, will take to the stage in Malaysia as she vies to become the first Filipina winner of the prestigious title.
The final will be broadcast live on the pageant’s official Facebook page at 7pm.
Mrs. Enriquez has focused her campaign on promoting Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Preparedness, an issue of particular relevance in the country which is regularly affected by typhoons, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
The Mrs. International World pageant, established in 2019, celebrates married women who combine beauty with advocacy work and community service.
Unlike traditional beauty pageants, it gives more weight on the contestants’ charitable works and leadership qualities.
LGU officials from San Jose have called for nationwide support, with the municipal government encouraging Filipinos to watch the broadcast and share messages of encouragement on social media.
“This is our chance to make history together and show the world the power, beauty, and resilience of a true San Joseña,” San Jose LGU said in a statement.
