A Mindoro-based training institute has launched a search for its next batch of young farmers to participate in an intensive agricultural training program in Taiwan.

The 11-month internship, now in its sixth batch, will equip participants with advanced skills in agriculture, fisheries, and agribusiness management.

The program is jointly organised by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI).

Successful candidates will receive training in modern farming techniques, marketing strategies, and cooperative management, with the goal of developing future agricultural leaders.

ATI-MIMAROPA Center Director Pat Andrew Barrientos is overseeing the application process. Interested candidates can submit their applications via email or in person at the ATI office in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Prospective applicants can find detailed eligibility criteria and required documents through the program’s official application portal.
