Chelsea Travel’s Starlite Ferries announced Thursday the cancellation of multiple ferry routes as Super Typhoon Pepito approaches the country.

The company suspended services from Batangas port to Calapan, Caticlan, Romblon, and Sibuyan.

Additional cancellations include routes from Roxas Mindoro to Caticlan (with limited operation until 12:00 noon), Roxas Mindoro to Odiongan, and Cebu routes to Nasipit and Surigao.

“All vessels will be moved to sheltered areas ahead of the typhoon,” the ferry operator said in an advisory.

The suspension takes effect Friday, November 15, 2024.

Passengers can contact (043) 723-9965 or visit www.starliteferries.com for updates on service resumption.

The company said that operations will remain suspended until further notice as they prioritize passenger and vessel safety.
