Roberto Enriquez Bonquin, 34, was apprehended in Barangay Bulusan following a sting operation conducted jointly by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and other law enforcement units, officials said.

Authorities seized two plastic sachets containing approximately 1.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, with an estimated street value of P8,160 pesos.

Bonquin, who works as a tricycle driver, faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to PDEA officials.

The operation was carried out by PDEA’s Oriental Mindoro office in coordination with the City Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) MIMAROPA, and Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group.
