3 Injured in Motorcycle Collision in Mansalay

A two-motorcycle collision occurred in Barangay Poblacion, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, late Saturday night, leaving three persons injured.

According to the Mansalay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the incident happened at 10:42 p.m. near the Mansalay Fish Port.

The MDRRMO team, led by Jose M. Mambollo Jr., responded to the scene at 10:45 p.m.

The victims were identified as a 16-year-old male, a 20-year-old female, and a 29-year-old male, all residents of Sitio Pookan and Sitio Arado in Barangay Poblacion.

The 29-year-old male was reportedly under the influence of liquor at the time of the accident.

The injured were immediately taken to the Oriental Mindoro Southern District Hospital (OMSDH) for treatment. The MDRRMO team, including responders Ramil Maula and Mark Lanzona, used an Isuzu Travis vehicle to transport the victims to the hospital.
