Authorities arrested a 43-year-old man in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Bawangan, Barangay Pagalagala, Pinamalayan on Oct. 7, 2024.
Alyas Sherwin, a resident of the area, was apprehended by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 4B (RPDEU-4B) led by Police Lt. Col. Israel Cisco Tolentino Magnaye.
According to police, Sherwin was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000 pesos in front of his house.
He allegedly has a history of involvement in the illegal drug trade, having previously surrendered during the Tokhang operation and serving time in jail.
Barangay Kagawad Edgar Mahaguy of Barangay Sta. Maria Pinamalayan was present during the operation.
Barangay Captain Dennis Ramos and the barangay tanod chief also arrived at the scene.
