ABOUT YFFLTPJ
The Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training Program in Japan (YFFLTPJ) is an innovative program designed to cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders in the Philippines.

Launched as a collaborative effort between the Department of Agriculture and the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC), this program aims to empower young Filipino farmers by providing them with essential skills and knowledge in modern agricultural practices.

The primary goal of YFFLTPJ is to develop deserving young Filipino farmers into capable farmer leaders and entrepreneurial figures within the agricultural sector.

The program focuses on enhancing their technical skills, leadership abilities, and understanding of sustainable farming practices.

Participants undergo an intensive training program that spans 11 months, during which they receive hands-on experience in various fields of agriculture while immersing themselves in Japanese culture and language.

The training includes classroom instruction, practical farm work, and exposure to advanced agricultural technologies used in Japan.
