Oriental Mindoro to Showcase Tourism Offerings at 35th Philippine Travel Mart

The province of Oriental Mindoro is set to participate in the 35th Philippine Travel Mart, a major tourism event in the country, scheduled to take place today, from September 6-8, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

The event, which is expected to draw thousands of domestic and international tourists, travel agents, and industry stakeholders, will provide Oriental Mindoro with a platform to showcase its unique tourism offerings and attractions.

Visitors to the event can look forward to exploring the province’s booth at the Department of Tourism (DOT) – MIMAROPA Pavilion #F06, where they can learn more about Oriental Mindoro’s rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and exciting adventure activities.

To add an element of excitement to the event, the Oriental Mindoro booth will also feature a QR code scanning activity, where visitors can win exclusive and limited-edition Travel Oriental Mindoro merchandise.

The participation of Oriental Mindoro in the 35th Philippine Travel Mart comes at a time when the country is celebrating Tourism Month, with a focus on “Tourism and Peace”.

The theme highlights the role of tourism in bridging cultural gaps and promoting peace and harmony among communities.

“Tourism has the power to bring people together and foster greater understanding and respect among different cultures,” the DOT said in a press statement. “By promoting tourism, we can help create a more peaceful and inclusive world.”
