CSC to Hold Government Job Fair in Calapan City on Sept. 3, 2024

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to host its 2024 Government Job Fair on September 3, 2024, at CityMall in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.

This event, coinciding with the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, aims to connect qualified individuals with various government agencies offering a wide range of employment opportunities.

The job fair showcases numerous vacant positions across different government departments, showing the Marcos administration’s commitment to strengthening public service and providing career opportunities for Filipino professionals.

Applicants are encouraged to prepare their credentials and familiarize themselves with the qualification standards for their desired positions.

Among the notable vacancies are:

  1. Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Mimaropa:
  • Chief Labor and Employment Officer
    Requirements include a master’s degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC, 40 hours of supervisory/management training, and four years of supervisory/management experience.
  1. Local Government Unit (LGU) San Teodoro:
  • Dentist II
    Applicants must be RA 1080 (Dentist) eligible, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine or Dental Surgery degree, 4 hours of relevant training, and 1 year of relevant experience.
  1. Philippine National Police (PNP):
  • Administrative Assistant I (Computer Operator I)
    This position requires completion of two years of college studies or a high school diploma with relevant vocational/trade courses. No prior work experience or training is necessary.
  • Administrative Aide IV (Communication Equipment Operator I)
    Similar educational requirements as the Administrative Assistant I position, with no mandatory work experience or training.
  1. LGU Mansalay:
  • Radiologic Technologist I
    Candidates must be RA1080 (Licensed Radiologic Technologist) eligible, hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, with no specific training or work experience required.
  • Medical Technologist I
    Requirements include RA1080 (Licensed Medical Technologist) eligibility, a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with no mandatory training or work experience.
  1. Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Mimaropa:
  • Technical Education and Skills Development Specialist II
    Applicants should possess CS Professional/Second Level Eligibility, a bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, 4 hours of relevant training, and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Accountant I
    Candidates must be RA 1080 eligible, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration, major in Accounting. No specific training or work experience is required.
  • Instructor I
    Requirements include PBET/Teacher/RA 1080/CS Professional/Second Level Eligibility, a Bachelor’s Degree in the area of specialization or a Master’s Degree in the area of specialization, and a National Certificate II (NC II).
  1. TESDA Mimaropa:
  • Guidance Counselor III
    Applicants should be RA 1080 eligible, with a Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job. No specific training or work experience is mandated.
  • School Librarian I
    Candidates must be RA 1080 eligible, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science, or a Bachelor of Science in Education/Arts major in Library Science. No prior training or work experience is necessary.

For all positions, applicants are required to submit a fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with a recent passport-sized picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017), which can be downloaded from www.csc.gov.ph.

Additional requirements may include performance ratings, photocopies of eligibility certificates, and transcripts of records.
