Senator Villar Distributes P3,000 Each to 333 Calapeño Beneficiaries

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Senator Mark Aguilar Villar’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program distributed financial assistance to 333 beneficiaries in Calapan City, with each recipient receiving P3,000.

The payout, which was made possible through Villar’s P1 million fund, was successfully implemented through the efforts of City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo and the Calapan City government.

The beneficiaries, who came from various barangays in the city, received their financial assistance at the Nuciti Central Mall on August 16.

The event was attended by representatives from Villar’s office, including Ms. Joyce Alayan, Political Affairs Officer.

Also present were Mr. Jaypee M. Vega, Head of Barangay Affairs and Sectoral Concerns, Former City Councilor Ms. Mylene De Jesus, and Ms. Agatha Ilano.

The AICS program was implemented in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Calapan City government’s Serbisyong TAMA Center, led by STC Program Administrator Mr. Peter Joseph V. Dytioco, and the Community Affairs Office, led by Ms. Charissa ‘ISAY’ Flores-Sy.
