    Mindoro Ice Skater Bags 7 Golds at Asian Competition

    Crisialyn Harvey M. Camino of Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, has made her mark on the international stage by bagging an impressive seven gold medals at the Skate Asia 2024 competition.

    Held at the Aurora Ice Rink in Taipei, Taiwan from August 3-11, 2024, the event saw participants from across Asia showcasing their talents in figure skating.

    Representing Team Philippines, Camino’s stellar performance not only brought pride to her hometown of Mansalay but also to the entire province of Oriental Mindoro and the Philippines.

    Her dedication, skill, and perseverance were evident as she gracefully dominated the ice, earning accolades and admiration from spectators and fellow competitors alike.

    The Skate Asia 2024 competition is one of the premier events in the world, attracting top-tier skaters who compete in various categories.

    Government officials and residents of Oriental Mindoro have expressed pride and gratitude for Camino’s accomplishments.

    “Thank you for the honor you brought to our country and to our province, Oriental Mindoro,” said Oriental Mindoro Board Member Atty. Roland Ruga, in a Facebook post.
